Dhoni Is Unavailable For West Indies Tour But Will Help Team In Smooth Transition

Key Facts:
1.According to sources,Dhoni is unavailable for the 3 ODI’s and 3 T20I’s in the West Indies. He was expected to retire after the World Cup 2019.
2.Rishabh Pant will take the responsibility and there is always a chance to express himself. And Dhoni will help in smooth transition.

It is obvious that India’s 2011 World Cup winner MS Dhoni will have to take retirement. This is the long term future for him.Actually he(wicket-keeper batsman) finished his fourth and final 50-over world cup will not remain in the team for West Indies tour .SO,he will take a part in the transition phase in Indian cricket.

From the sources,”Dhoni will not travel with the team as a first choice wicket keeper.Rishabh Pant will take the responsibility. So, Dhoni may be a part of 15, but not in 11.Now, Indian team badly requires a guiding hand and MS is very good for this.”

In addition, the national selection committee is going to meet on Friday to get the best 15 squad for the upcoming West Indies tour.

Again,if the selector thinks Dinesh Karthik who is 34(turning 35 right now)is fit will be a part of the squad. He, the Tamil Nadu cricketer, who was a part of the team as the 2nd choice wicket keeper and played some matches due to certain players injuries, will not be the compliment for Dhoni in greater context.

“In this October , Pant turns 22. And when he will be 23, there’s a T20I WC schedule in Australia. Now, he has the potential and needs to work hard. Many thinks a year is so good time to undergo that transition,”revealed sources.

Also, Dhoni can’t able to retire from the game because he has one year contract more in Chennai Super Kings(CSK). In 2018, IPL signed fresh players for a 3 year term. The authority of the francises said,”MSD can’t just walk away like that. The CSK ride on him and he is the backbone of the team. Not just the Indian team, he needs to undergo a transition there too.Overall, it’s more than a decade-long association with them.”
